What
Are Xtreme Lashes™? |
|
Xtreme
Lashes™ is a revolutionary product that lengthens and thickens
eyelashes. Xtreme Lashes™ are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that
are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to
individual eyelashes, one lash at a time, for a natural, elegant and
luscious look. Xtreme Lashes™ is perfect for special occasions as well
as for every day wear. You
will be comfortably reclined with your eyes closed while Xtreme Lashes™
are applied individually to your natural eyelashes. It generally takes
between 90 to 120 minutes to apply one set of Xtreme Lashes™. The
procedure is so relaxing and comfortable, many clients fall asleep.
Touch ups can be done in as little as 30 to 45 minutes.

Please
come to your appointment's without any makeup on; no mascara or
eyeliner, we need clean, makeup and oil free lashes for proper
adhesion. Contact lenses may NOT be worn during the procedure.
Please don't drink caffeinated beverages before your appointment's
as
we need your face/eyes to be as still as possible while applying
eyelash extensions. When removing your makeup before your appointment, DO NOT use makeup remover with glycol.

BEWARE! So many beauty spots and beauty professionals want to join in on the popular eyelash extension service boom, but many misrepresent the service they offer as eyelash extensions when it truly isn't. If you book a service for "Eyelash Extensions", make sure you know what you are getting. If you find a place offering this service for a really low price, often you are getting flares (otherwise known as tabs or clusters) or "individual" lashes (which are actually 3 stacked lashes) not true eyelash extensions. As the old saying goes, "if it sounds to good to be true it probably is." Do your homework and make sure the person you go to for this service is certified and has had hands on training, don't be afraid to ask for a certification. Remember it's your eye's you have a right to know.

Can I
apply mascara to Xtreme Lashes™? |
|
With
proper application, Xtreme Lashes™ look and feel completely natural.
Indeed, one of the main advantages of Xtreme Lashes™ is never needing
mascara again. However, if you must have the mascara look, only water
based mascara can be used DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA.
Waterproof mascara along with any type of oil based mascara will
dissolve the bonding agent and cause the Xtreme Lashes™ to fall off. |

How
long do Xtreme Lashes™ Last? |
|
The
duration of semi permanent eyelash extensions can vary from client to
client depending on the degree of care exercised by that individual.
That being said, when
applied properly, semi-permanent Xtreme Lashes™ can last indefinitely.
Depending on your lifestyle and the expertise of the technician applying
the eyelash extensions. You will need a re-lash every 2 weeks.
A natural eyelash falls off every 60 to 90 days on average due to the
natural growth cycle and is naturally replaced with the growth of a new
eyelash. At any given moment, each of your natural eyelashes is at a
different stage of its life cycle. A touch up is needed to replenish the
lashes that have completed their life cycle. Touch ups generally take a
short time and are relatively inexpensive. |

Can I
swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing Xtreme Lashes™? |
|
Yes.
Our specially formulated bonding agent allows you to shower, swim,
exercise, sleep and spa worry-free while wearing Xtreme Lashes™. You can
enjoy these lashes with little need to adjust your lifestyle. Please do
not swim or spa for 48 hours after the procedure to allow the bonding
agent to fully cure. |

How do
I take care of Xtreme Lashes™? |
|
Your
new Xtreme Lashes™ are long, full and beautiful! Once applied, they
last up to 3 weeks. Best of all, they are easy to maintain. Your Xtreme
Lashes Professional will give you a detailed easy care maintenance
instruction manual following your procedure. To maintain this look and
extend the life of your lashes, follow these easy care instructions:

Do not wash eyes
or shower for 24 hours after lash application. Do not swim or spa
for 48 hours after lash application to allow adequate time for
bonding.

Be gentle
with your lashes and avoid rubbing your
eyes.

Avoid hot steam
from the shower and sauna

Avoid oil-based
and waterproof mascara. Water based mascara and water based mascara
remover may be used. Use mascara sparingly and gently remove mascara
with water-based eye makeup remover.

We recommend
sleeping on your back for the first night to let the glue cure.

We recommend
getting a touch up every two weeks.
